Who we are
Mira (“Mira: Money & Mood”, “we”, “us”) is a personal budgeting app that
helps you track spending, budgets, goals, debts, and the feelings behind your
money decisions. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account information: the email address you use to sign up and sign in.
- Financial information you enter: transactions (amount, category,
note, date, and any feeling you tag), budgets, savings goals, sinking funds,
debts, bills, income, and weekly reflections.
- Money personality: your answers to the optional in-app assessment
and its result.
- Subscription status: whether you have an active Mira Premium
subscription (managed through Apple and RevenueCat).
Mira does not collect your location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and does
not include third-party advertising or tracking.
How we use your information
- To provide the app’s features — storing and displaying your budget, spending,
goals, and insights.
- To create and secure your account and send essential account emails
(confirmation and password reset).
- To manage your subscription and unlock Premium features.
Service providers
We share the minimum necessary data with providers that operate the app on our behalf:
- Supabase — secure database and authentication; stores your
account and the financial data you enter.
- RevenueCat — subscription management; receives your purchase
information and an app-specific user identifier.
- Apple — processes subscription payments through the App Store.
- Resend — delivers account emails; processes your email address
for that purpose.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with per-user access controls so that only
your account can access your data. You can also enable an in-app lock (Face ID or
passcode) on your device.
Your choices and rights
- Export: you can export all your data as a file from within the
app (You → Export my data).
- Delete: you can permanently delete your account and all
associated data from within the app (You → Delete account). This cannot be undone.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account,
your data is permanently removed.
Children
Mira is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this
page with a new “Last updated” date.
